Planes, trains, and automobiles all rely on Michelin North America's tires to make their rounds. So do motorcycles, trucks, and tractors, among many other types of commercial, industrial, and specialty vehicles. With about 20 manufacturing facilities in the US, Canada, and Mexico, Michelin North America makes and sells tires branded with the Michelin, BF Goodrich, and Uniroyal names. One site produces synthetic rubber and rocket fuel components for NASA. Michelin North America accounts for about one-third of parent Compagnie Générale des Établissements Michelin's annual sales. Its tires are sold to consumers, OEMs, and replacement centers. The company also produces North American road maps and travel guides.
