ViewSonic has a display for every occasion. The company makes cathode ray tube (CRT) and LCD computer displays, including the Pro Series for high-end computer-aided design, desktop publishing, and graphic design; the X and Graphics lines for consumers and businesses; and the E2, Optiquest, and Value Series for budget-minded buyers. ViewSonic also offers LCD TVs, LCD projectors, tablet PCs, and digital photo frames. ViewSonic sells directly and through resellers and distributors to consumer, corporate, government, and education customers. Chairman and CEO James Chu, ViewSonic's majority owner, founded the company in 1987.
