PanAmSat also transmits programming for direct-to-home (DTH) TV services, provides technical support for live broadcasts, and serves private corporate networks using very small aperture terminals (VSATs). Customers include News Corp. and CNN. The company also delivers streaming video to Internet backbone networks. The company has been acquired by rival Intelsat.
