You might say this company puts the "O" in Oprah. Harpo controls the entertainment and media interests of talk show host/actress/producer Oprah Winfrey. Its flagship "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is the highest-rated TV talk show in history and is seen in almost every US market and in 145 countries. Harpo also produces feature films ("Beloved," which also starred Winfrey) and made-for-TV movies ("Their Eyes Were Watching God"), as well as radio content distributed by SIRIUS XM Radio. In addition, Harpo publishes "O, The Oprah Magazine" with Hearst Magazines, which boasts a circulation of about 2.3 million, and it publishes content online through Oprah.com. Winfrey started her production company in 1986.
