Count on Amcor to keep things under wraps. The company makes a slate of corrugated boxes, cartons, aluminum and steel cans, flexible and film packaging, PET (polyethylene terephthalate plastic) and glass bottles, metal and plastic closures, and multi-wall sacks. Customers in food and beverage, healthcare, and tobacco account for more than 80% of sales. Operating through five divisions, Amcor runs some 220 plants in 30-plus countries. Amcor Flexibles (food packaging) includes Amcor Rentsch, supplying film for tobacco goods. About 30% of sales are driven by PET Packaging, Amcor's biggest division. Amcor Sunclipse distributes an array of Amcor items along with making corrugated and fibre-based specialty packaging.
