Moving people's possessions has made many of UniGroup's companies household names. The company transports household goods and other items in more than 100 countries through subsidiaries United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit and a network of affiliates. The movers' operations are supported by UniGroup units such as Trans Advantage, which sells and leases trucks and trailers and provides moving supplies; UniGroup Worldwide UTS, which coordinates international moves; and Vanliner Group, which offers insurance to movers. Subsidiary Allegiant Move Management offers relocation management and assistance. UniGroup is owned by agents of United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit and by the company's senior executives.
