Airline group SAS carries passengers throughout Scandinavia -- and well beyond. Most of the company's sales come from its Scandinavian Airlines operations, which include units operating in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, as well as Scandinavian Airlines International, which serves destinations in Europe, North America, and Asia. SAS and its associated carriers serve more than 175 destinations with a fleet of about 260 aircraft. SAS extends its reach as a member of the global Star Alliance, a marketing and code-sharing partnership led by Lufthansa and United Airlines. (Code-sharing allows carriers to sell tickets on one another's flights and thus offer potential passengers more destinations.)
