Mosel Vitelic provides integrated circuits and related products for computing, consumer electronics, telecommunications, and other applications. The company previously focused on commodity DRAMs and DRAM modules, but has exited that market. It makes high-speed static random-access memories (SRAMs), flash memories, microcontrollers, recording chips, and system-on-a-chip products. In 2006 Mosel Vitelic entered the markets for photovoltaic solar cells (which are fabricated with processes similar to semiconductor manufacturing) and radio-frequency identification (RFID) devices.
