Beyond Britain, it boasts about 295 locations, mostly franchises, in about 40 countries, including India, Indonesia, South Korea, and China. Its department stores sell mid-priced apparel, food, and household items under the company's private label brands, including Autograph, Classic, per una, and Portfolio. About 90% of the company's sales are made in its home country, where it is the #1 provider of womenswear and lingerie. The retailer also sells goods online. M&S has been in business for 125 years.
