Founded during the presidency of George Washington, Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft is one of the oldest law firms in the US. Since 1792 the firm has grown to include more than 500 lawyers and to encompass offices not only in the US, but also in Europe and the Asia/Pacific region. Among the areas of practice for which the firm is regularly recognized are capital markets, financial restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
