You might say this company keeps the Big Mac big and the Happy Meals happy. Anderson-DuBose Pittsburgh is a leading wholesale distributor that supplies food and non-food items primarily to McDonald's fast-food restaurants in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. It serves about 500 Golden Arches locations with frozen meat and fish, dairy products, and paper goods and packaging, as well as toys for Happy Meals. One of the largest black-owned companies in the US, Anderson-DuBose was started in 1991 by Warren Anderson and Stephen DuBose, who purchased control of a McDonald's distributorship from Martin-Brower. Anderson became sole owner in 1993 when he bought out his partner's stake in the business.
