Riceland Foods is ingrained in the marketing and milling business. The agricultural cooperative markets rice, soybeans, and wheat grown by its 9,000 member-owners, who farm in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas. One of the world's leading rice millers, Riceland sells long-grain, brown, and wild rice; flavored rices; and rice-based meal kits (under the Riceland name, as well as private labels). Its customers include grocery retailers and foodservice and food manufacturing companies. The co-op also makes edible oil and processes soybeans, bran, and lecithin, and it supplies rice bran and hulls to petfood makers and to livestock farmers as feed and bedding products.
