CIBER helps its customers take control of information. The company is an information technology (IT) consultancy that provides enterprise systems integration through consulting practices specializing in such software systems as Oracle, Lawson, Microsoft, and SAP, as well as custom software development. In addition, CIBER offers a number of support services including call center and help desk operations, data hosting, and maintenance. It serves a number of federal, state, and local government agencies and commercial customers in such industries as manufacturing, finance, and telecommunications. Former CEO Bobby Stevenson founded the company with two other partners in 1974.
