Millions of Russians are into Mail.Ru, are you? Mail.Ru (formerly Digital Sky Technologies) owns websites and online assets in Russia, including the country's leading email provider (and its namesake). It controls the social networking scene with Odnoklassniki (OK) and My World, and has a 32% stake in the country's third platform, vKontakte. (In addition, Mail.Ru paid $200 million for a 2% stake in Facebook). The group also owns two instant messaging applications, Mail.Ru Agent and ICQ (bought from AOL), a job site, HeadHunter, and an online game portfolio of about 85 games through Astrum. Other investments include 20% of Russian online payment processor QIWI and minority stakes in Groupon and Zynga.
