Bustos Media is busting out onto the Hispanic media scene. The company owns and operates 25 Spanish-language AM and FM radio stations in seven states -- California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. Its stations play a mix of adult contemporary and regional Mexican music, such as banda, corrido, and norteņo. (As of 2008, Bustos Media also broadcasts one English-language smooth jazz station in Denver.) In addition, the company operates three television stations in Sacramento, Salt Lake City, and Milwaukee, which are part of Azteca America, an affiliate network of Mexico's TV Azteca. Bustos Media was founded in 2003 by Chairman and CEO Amador Bustos.
