BMP Sunstone wants to bridge the pharmaceutical divide between the east and west. Through its Chinese-based subsidiaries, BMP offers services to western pharmaceutical and over-the-counter (OTC) drug companies that want to sell their products in China. Services include sales, marketing, pre-market entry analysis, clinical trial management, product registration, and distribution (BMP's largest business segment). The company has agreements with several pharmaceutical companies, including exclusive rights to market and distribute a handful of products. BMP also sells a line of OTC health products targeted to children and women.
