AccessData's products do just that - access data, especially hidden data. The company designs computer forensics-related software and services which enable investigative data collection, password cracking, and decryption. Used by thousands of international corporations, law enforcement agencies, and government entities, the company's software products can be used to search e-mail servers, networks, documents, and other structured databases. It sells its products through resellers (mostly IT companies) that are located in nearly 50 countries. Founded in 1987, AccessData operates offices in Utah, Texas, and Virginia. CEO Tim Leehealey co-owns the company.
