AFC Cable Systems has its own system for networking. A division of Tyco Flow Control, AFC designs and manufactures wire and cable products for distributing electricity in commercial and institutional buildings and a breadth of industrial applications. AFC's prewired armored cable eliminates the need for traditional pipe-and-wire electrical distribution. The company's insulated cables offer fire and explosion resistance. Other AFC products include integrated modular wiring, fittings and conduits, galvanized strip steel, photo controls, communications equipment, and metal hose and ducting products. AFC caters to OEMs, electrical wholesalers, home centers serving the DIY market, as well as electrical contractors.
