Atlantic Premium Brands doesn't operate along the Atlantic but it does have a boatload of premium regional meat brands. The company processes and distributes packaged meats under names such as Blue Ribbon, Carlton's, J.C. Potter, and Richard's, as well as private labels. Its products include smoked and breakfast sausages, ham, bacon, and Cajun entrees. The company distributes food products to supermarkets and discount stores in 16 central and southern US states. Sales dipped sharply in 2000, when SAM'S CLUB dropped Atlantic Premium Brands as a supplier. It has recovered, however, and with an estimated $100 million in sales, Atlantic Premium was ranked #87 on the Top 125 list of National Provisioner for 2006.
