Its Customized Distribution division serves specifically chain restaurants such as Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday through about 10 facilities around the country. Its subsidiary Vistar is a leading supplier of specialty foods for both foodservice and vending operators. The company was taken private in 2008 by The Blackstone Group and Wellspring Capital Management.
