Aetrium can attribute whatever success it reaps to its semiconductor testing equipment. The company makes systems used in testing integrated circuits (ICs) and other electronic components. Its main products are test handlers, which work with testers to thermally condition and sort ICs. Other product lines include automated IC handling products, reliability test systems, and gear for adapting test handlers to different types of IC packages. Aetrium's customers include analog chip maker Maxim Integrated Products (40% of sales). The company gets about two-thirds of sales outside the US.
