Monarch Casino & Resort hopes high rollers will rediscover Atlantis. The company's tropical-themed Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, includes nearly 1,000 hotel rooms, a 51,000-sq.-ft. casino, nine restaurants, a health club, a nightclub, and a family entertainment center. Casino operations, which account for more than half of revenue, include 40 gaming tables, about 1,500 slot and video poker machines, keno, and a race and sports book. The daughter and sons of founder David Farahi -- Jila Farahi and co-chairmen John (CEO), Bob (president), and Ben Farahi (former CFO) -- own about half of the company.
