Pacific Sunwear of California (PacSun) knows that US teens want "swag" that's allll good. The company operates about 930 mall-based stores in all 50 US states and Puerto Rico under the names Pacific Sunwear and PacSun Outlet, and sells its swag online. It courts the young and active markets by representing brands associated with surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding, including apparel by Billabong and Quicksilver, as well as footwear by DC Shoes, among others. PacSun also sells its own private-label merchandise (Bullhead, Kirra, Kirra Girl, Vurt, and Nollie). The teen-focused chain is struggling with decreasing sales and has closed its One Thousand Steps and d.e.m.o. chains.
