Bond with the customer is more than a corporate mantra at Arclin. It's the company's bread and butter. Arclin makes bonding and surfacing products for engineered wood and other materials as well as paper overlays for decorative wood panels. It produces resins and adhesives for automotive, engineered wood, and laminate markets; resins for composites, laminated veneer and plywood, wall and roof products, and insulation materials; and overlays used in building materials, industrial products, melamine, and concrete. Arclin was formed in 2007 from the North American business of Finnish chemical firm Dynea when Teachers' Private Capital, the investment arm of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, acquired the company.
