American Honda Motor helps to find new homes for cars, trucks, motorcycles, engines, all-terrain vehicles, and power equipment in the US and abroad. The company is the North American sales, marketing, and distribution arm for Japan-based Honda Motor. Working in tandem with some 20 manufacturing plants, design centers, and research and development facilities in the US, the company also oversees the export of US-made Honda and Acura products. American Honda Motor came to the US in 1959 as the first Honda subsidiary to be established outside of Japan.
