The company, which operates as a real estate investment trust, owns nearly a dozen hotel and business properties in the sixth and seventh arrondissements (boroughs) of Paris, located on the left, or south, bank of the Seine River. Originally founded as Inter-Investors, a hotel company, by AGF, Assurances du Credit Muteul Vie, and Azur-GMF, SIIC de Paris Rive Gauche went public and took its new name in early 2007. It is under the banner of SIIC de Paris (also run by chairman Luc Guinefort), which is part of Spanish commercial real estate firm Realia.
