Marine transportation company OSG America specializes in hauling refined petroleum products between US ports. Its fleet of about 20 vessels, consisting of product carriers and tug-barge units, has an overall carrying capacity of more than 830,000 deadweight tons (DWT). The company's clientele is made up primarily of major integrated oil companies and independent refiners; key customers have included Sunoco and Marathon Oil. Revenue is split evenly between long- and short-term charters. OSG America was formed as a spinoff of marine transportation company Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG), which still owns about 77% of the company.
