American Public Education promotes military intelligence. The company offers online postsecondary education to those in the military and other public servants such as police or fire fighters Its American Military University and American Public University make up the American Public University System, which offers more than 70 degree programs and nearly as many certificate programs in such disciplines as business administration, criminal justice, intelligence, technology, liberal arts, and homeland security. Enrollment in the online university consists of more than 42,000 part-time students from all 50 states and about 100 foreign countries. More than 80% of students serve in the US military or are veterans.
