The company helps US businesses clean parts and dispose of highly-regulated waste materials, such as cleaning solvents, used oil, and paint, that can't be discarded through municipal trash systems or standard drains. Customers are primarily small to mid-sized companies and include car dealerships, auto repair shops, trucking firms, and manufacturers, such as metal fabricators. Heritage-Crystal Clean regularly services more than 40,000 client sites from some 50 branches in nearly 40 states. President and CEO Joseph Chalhoub founded Heritage-Crystal Clean in 1999.
