The company publishes Inc., which provides content aimed at entrepreneurs, and Fast Company, a chronicler of trends and practices in the quick-to-change business world. Both magazines publish related Web versions. Inc. is known for its Inc. 500 annual ranking of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the US. In addition to its two magazine titles, the company also has online, events, custom publishing, and integrated marketing operations. Joe Mansueto (founder and CEO of Morningstar) formed the publishing company in 2005 after buying both titles from Gruner+Jahr for about $35 million.
