You only have one life to live, and Allianz China Life (AZCL) wants to be the one to insure it. The company -- a joint venture between Allianz and China's financial services firm CITIC Trust & Investment -- provides universal and term life insurance as well as participating, annuity, pension, accident, travel, health, medical, and group insurance products. Banks, brokers, and company agents sell AZCL products; they are also available through direct sales. Its 13,000 agents operate from seven offices and 60 sales centers located in mostly southern and eastern China. Allianz was the first European country to offer life insurance in China, opening Allianz China Life in 1999.
