Products cater to individuals in several categories, including duty (for military, law enforcement, postal workers), outdoor (waterproof waders, hunting and hiking boots for sportsmen), work (for construction, industrial, hospitality personnel), and western. The company's products are sold primarily through more than 10,000 retail stores in North America, including sporting goods and outdoor stores, mass merchandisers, and farm store chains. It also sells boots online. Brothers William and F. M. Brooks founded Rocky in 1932.
