Warnaco Swimwear helps divers and swimmers go for the gold. It's the exclusive North American licensee for Speedo swimwear, activewear, footwear, and accessories from Speedo International, an affiliate of Pentland Group. NASA and athletes, such as Michael Phelps, helped to develop Speedo's Fastskin LZR Racer swimsuit. The firm sells its licensed products through retailers the likes of Nordstrom, Target, and Costco under the Speedo and Calvin Klein brands; Speedos are also sold in sporting goods stores and specialty swim shops. Warnaco Swimwear operates SpeedoUSA.com and has operations in 170 countries, spanning North and South America and Europe. Intimate apparel maker Warnaco owns the swimwear company.
