If you find yourself in Hong Kong in need of a quick soda and some snack food, you'll be glad for Convenience Retail Asia. The company, a part of Li & Fung, holds the exclusive Circle K licensee in Hong Kong, Macao, and China. Most of its 300 locations are owned and managed by the company. To keep up with China's growing appetite for Asian snacks and Western convenience, Convenience Retail Asia plans to add 100 stores in Hong Kong and expand into the Pearl River Delta area of China. It will also continue to look for new areas of China that need Circle K. Chairman Victor Fung and son William Fung own about 50% of Convenience Retail Asia.
