Beijing Capital International Airport Co. is both a destination and launch pad for Chinese business. Located northeast of the nation's capital, the airport is a hub for domestic and international airlines, including 72 carriers offering flights to 96 Chinese cities and about 90 cities abroad. One of the world's busiest airports, it also controls several subsidiaries that provide airport services, including ground service, air catering and concessions, security, retail, parking, restaurants and foodservice, cargo, and advertising. Beijing Airport's three terminals encompass more than 20 million sq. ft. Its largest customer, Air China, represents more than 20% of its business. The airport opened in 1958.
