Glorious Sun Enterprises operates a major textiles and apparel business in China. The company manufactures a range of casual wear, including T-shirts, knit tops, sweaters, skirts, jackets, jeans, and trousers. Products are offered under Glorious Sun's own Jeanswest brand, and its client roster has included the likes of The Gap, Levi Strauss, and Wal-Mart. In addition to its manufacturing business, Glorious Sun operates more than 1,600 retail stores in Australia, China, New Zealand, and the Middle East. It also retails apparel through a joint venture with Quiksilver in China, Macau, and Hong Kong. Charles Yeung founded Glorious Sun in 1974, when it was just a small denim manufacturer.
