Firefly Mobile targets a wireless demographic that may actually be out collecting glowing insects in jars on summer nights when the phone rings. The company makes and sells cellular phones and provides an accompanying pre-paid wireless phone service designed for children ages six to 12. The phones are scaled down to a kid-friendly size and one model, known as glowPhone, features only five buttons including keys dedicated to instantly dial home or 911. Its flyPhone product is a more full-featured phone aimed at older children. Firefly Mobile's phones, which connect via AT&T Mobility's network, can be purchased online from the company and through such retailers as Target, Toys "R" Us, and Wal-Mart.
