CMA CGM ships freight PDQ. The marine transportation company is one of the world's leading container carriers. Through subsidiaries it operates a fleet of about 370 vessels that serve more than 400 ports around the globe, and it maintains a network of about 650 facilities in about 150 countries. In addition to hauling containers by sea, CMA CGM provides logistics services, arranging the transportation of containerized freight by river, road, and rail. The company's tourism division arranges cruises and other travel services. Chairman Jacques Saadé founded the company in 1978.
