The Topps Company distributes and markets the famous Bazooka bubble gum and makes trading cards featuring pictures of professional sports stars from the NBA, NFL, and Major League Baseball. Topps also makes cards based on licensed movies, television shows, and entertainment properties including brands from the Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Lord of the Rings series. Other products include novelty candies (Ring Pops, Push Pops), stickers, and comic books. Subsidiary WizKids sells collectible strategy games. Topps' products are sold worldwide. Investment firms Madison Dearborn and Tornate Co. acquired Topps and took the firm private in 2007.
