URS Corporation is all about the US contract. The company provides planning, design, program and construction management, and operations and maintenance services to public agencies, as well as to private and international clients around the world. It is organized into three operating units: the URS division, the Washington Division, and the EG&G division. The firm focuses on transportation, environmental, facilities, commercial/industrial, water/wastewater, homeland security, defense systems, and installations and logistics markets. URS has operations in some 30 countries; a majority of its business (some 35% of sales) comes from US government agency operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
