Nash-Finch knows what's in store for food retailers. One of the largest US wholesale grocery distributors, the company supplies food and general merchandise to about 1,600 retail grocery stores in more than 25 states. It operates more than 15 distribution centers in the Midwest, the Great Lakes region, and the Southeast. The company is also one of the leading suppliers to the the US armed forces, distributing goods to more than 200 military bases and commissaries both in the US and abroad. In addition to its food distribution businesses, Nash-Finch operates nearly 60 of its own supermarkets under such banners as Econofoods and Sun Mart.
