The company is a leading designer of golf apparel and accessories for men and women under the Ashworth, Callaway Golf (under license), Kudzu, and The Game brand names. Most of its clothing is made in Asian countries. Ashworth, which was founded in 1987, markets its products primarily in the US, Canada, and Europe in golf pro shops and upscale department and specialty stores, such as Nordstrom. Its primary customers are resorts and golf courses. The manufacturer also sells its clothing and accessories through about 20 Ashworth retail outlets. TaylorMade-adidas Golf purchased the firm in November 2008.
