Novis Telecom keeps Portuguese callers connected. With a network that covers 95% of the country, Novis provides fixed-line telecommunications services, including local, long-distance, and international calling as well as dial-up and DSL Internet services to both corporate and residential customers. The company is the #3 fixed-line telecom company in Portugal behind Portugal Telecom and Vodafone Portugal. Novis is 57% owned by Sonaecom, while the remaining 43% is held by France Telecom. It recently acquired rival fixed-line company Oni Telecom's residential and home office business for more than $33 million, giving Novis access to Oni's 134,000 residential customers.
