Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland boasts itself as one of the largest pharmaceutical businesses in the country. A subsidiary of French giant Sanofi-Aventis, the company manufactures and markets prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Along with its Lantus and Insuman insulin products, Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland produces Plavix and Lovenox.
