Vegas, baby! Vegas! Colony Resorts LVH Acquisition is behind the famed Las Vegas Hilton, a hotel near the Strip with some 3,000 rooms and a 74,000 square-foot casino with games of chance. In addition to the casino, the hotel features more than a dozen restaurants, the Hilton Theater showroom, and a variety of wedding chapels. The Las Vegas Hilton is adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center, one of the largest convention facilities in the world.The hotel-casino changed hands in 2004, when Caesars Entertainment sold the property to Colony Capital, a private equity firm, for $280 million.
