Cable television is a funny business for this company. Part of Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting unit, TBS Superstation is a leading cable network that reaches more than 95 million US homes with a mix of television programming that is heavy on the comedies. It airs mostly syndicated sitcoms, including The Office, Seinfeld, and Sex and the City, but also has some original programming, such as My Boys and Tyler Perry's House of Payne. TBS has rights to a slate of regular season and playoff Major League Baseball games. The network was launched in 1976 by media mogul Ted Turner.
