Botanical Laboratories, Inc. (BLI) is your garden-variety nutritional supplement maker. It manufactures its own branded nutritional supplements and also offers private label manufacturing of nutritional supplements and homeopathic remedies. BLI's consumer products include dietary supplements distributed under its Wellesse brand and sold at retail food and drug stores, such as CVS and Costco. From capsule to carton, its contract manufacturing division offers customers turnkey production and packaging, development, quality control, and testing services nationwide. Botanical Laboratories was founded in 1988 and is led by CEO Jim Thornton, a long-time venture capital investor in the consumer health care sector.
