Advanced Circuits doesn't let its customers or employees suffer from board-dom. The contract manufacturer of quick-turn printed circuit boards (PCBs) and prototypes is known for offering interesting incentives to customers, including dinner gift certificates for referrals. Engineering students can receive sponsorships for projects and low cost prototypes. The company offers lead-free solder finishing on all prototype boards. Customers have included NASA, Displaytech, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Microfabrica. Advanced Circuits was founded in 1989. Compass Equity Group financed a management buyout of the company in 2005. CEO John Yacoub continues to lead Advanced Circuits following the MBO.
