Hurray! Holding cheers over wireless. The company, and its operating subsidiary Hurray! Times, uses wireless application protocol (WAP) to provide value-added services, including short messaging services, ring tones, and entertainment content primarily to mobile phone customers of wireless carriers China Unicom and China Mobile. The company also is involved in the music recording and artist development industries through equity stakes it holds in various companies. The company agreed in 2007 to be acquired by television production company Enlight Media; the deal was later terminated in March 2008.
