Sega Sammy Holdings does exactly what its name states -- it is the holding company for SEGA and Sammy. A leading maker of video games, SEGA is known for its Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Sammy is one of Japan's top producers of pinball-like pachinko games and holds the largest market share in pachislots -- upscale versions of classic slot machines that allow players to win prizes instead of cash.
